Position Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Sourcing Leader to join the existing team in our Power & Industrial (P&I) Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for develop, control and improve the supply chain in the Americas region to support increased volume of equipment, improved lead times and better cost positions to drive IAQ business growth in terms of revenue and gross margin.
This is a leadership role and is responsible for all of the Americas. The Sourcing Leader must establish a plan and strategy to find, negotiate and develop suppliers based on criteria such as quality, price, reliability and sustainability, execute this plan using a team of individuals who are not direct reports. Ultimately, the position will have direct reports in both the United States and Mexico.
Position Responsibilities:
• Develop a robust, high quality, highly reliable and cost effective supply chain to deliver IAQ equipment in both the USA and Mexico. This includes manufacturing options, assembly options, component suppliers and ancillary equipment suppliers.
• Find, negotiate, configure and monitor the supply base. Measure the supply base based on safety, quality, delivery and cost effective KPIs. Create and execute improvement plans with the supplier base to deliver the margin growth required by the business.
• Provide feedback and support the correction of supplier issues or improvement ideas to enable KPI improvement.
• Work with sales, product and execution teams to grow and improve the supply chain to support business growth.
• Be an active member of the IAQ Americas leadership team, supporting and improving business performance, staff growth and team engagement across all locations.
• Coordinate sourcing activities as needed, to ensure time, quality and price of IAQ products and services.
• Potentially lead the creation of AAF assembly plants in the future.
• Evaluate and validate suppliers, using quality, price, reliability, and performance criteria.
• Create negotiation strategies that improve costs by ensuring profitable, time-defined agreements.
• Identify the products and services needed to support daily operations.
• Analyse risks and apply risk minimization techniques, such as FMEA, among others, that ensure control in the supply chain for manufacturing, receipt of products, and their disposition for order management.
Person Specification:
Education, Qualifications and Affiliations
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar.
- English spoken, written, reading & listening (medium – high level)
Experience
• At least 10 years of experience with sourcing and supplier management in a manufacturing environment relying on a large pool of subcomponent and assembly suppliers.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role as a Sourcing or Procurement Manager working with a local or regional leadership team. This role is expected to be part of the leadership team and lead a future team in both Mexico and the United States

Licenses or Certifications
- Driving license
- Passport and visa required: Travel to US will be required for role.
Technical Requirements
• Knowledge of manufacturing, APC industry or other industry area.
• Experience working and negotiating with suppliers.
• Knowledge of manufacturing business execution.
• Planning and experience in long-term agreements.
• Experience in material warehousing required. Understand how to build stock and negotiate with suppliers to maintain finished or partially finished stock.
• Demonstrated high-level use of Microsoft Excel or database software to manipulate and share data.
• Demonstrated use of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint to share data.
• Ability to use various tools and software, such as spreadsheets, databases, and inventory management systems, to collect, analyse data, and generate reports.
• Understanding of market dynamics and good business judgment
